RCN Partners
The Resource Centre Network plays an important role in the Knowledge Management (KM) initiative in Ghana. Currently, the core group members for the Network consist of KNUST, WaterAid Ghana, CONIWAS, CWSA, TREND Group, IRC Ghana, Water Directorate and the Environmental Health Sanitation Directorate of the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, UNICEF Ghana, Global Communities, SNV, School Health Education Program of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS), Water and Sanitation for Africa (WSA)
The actual implementation and development of KM products and services is done by the Core Group Partners of the Resource Centre Network. Resource Centres are institutions which are already involved in information and knowledge management activities and which are committed to the future development and promotion of information and knowledge management services in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector in Ghana. The RCN is the management and operational body for sector KM activities. The organisations in this network serve as subject area-nodal points for the development and promotion of KM. These RCN partners each have their own sectoral focus and cater for different target groups. Together they are able to provide information and knowledge management services to the entire sector.
