At least nine people are confirmed dead in a cholera outbreak at Atebubu in Brong Ahafo Region in just a week with several others infected.
According to the District Chief Executive, Sanja Nanja the first case was recorded in May but became worse about a week ago.
He told Joy News a District Security Council meeting was held with the various stakeholders to work out ways of curbing the outbreak to avert further deaths.
