Rural Initiators and Motivators Development Association (RIMDA) is an NGO which operates within Brong Ahafo, Western and Ashanti Region. RIMDA, was formed in 1992 as a Community Based Organization (CBO). It was legally registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in October 1996. RIMDA now has two other branches in the Tano and Techiman Districts of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.

The organization is specialized in community animation and advocacy in social
development of rural and deprived urban dwellers. RIMDA’s programme areas are mainly focused on environmental and developmental issues, including water supply and sanitation.
